Jeremy Olshan is newsroom leader, editor, and reporter with a two-decade track record of reshaping personal finance coverage. As managing editor at NBC News Digital, he leads efforts to raise the level of writing and storytelling across platforms, experimenting with formats that help readers deepen their understanding of the news. He was previously the personal finance bureau chief at The Wall Street editor and editor in chief of MarketWatch, and co-host of the Best New Ideas in Money podcast. His work has appeared in The New York Post, The New Yorker, and New York Magazine, among other places. He has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
